Virginia Calton BallardExecutive Director - Nashville
Virginia Calton Ballard is a native Nashvillian who has spent more than 30 years fundraising for and managing non-profit organizations. Most recently, she served as president of Camp Aranzazu, a 105-acre, 175-bed camp on the Texas Gulf Coast that serves children and adults with special needs and chronic illnesses. She oversaw capital, annual, endowment, and hurricane recovery campaigns for the camp, raising more than $15 million. She also has worked for some of the most prestigious and largest non-profit institutions in Houston, including Texas Children’s Cancer Center and Baylor College of Medicine, where she raised money for medical research and clinical care.
Virginia moved back home in 2022. She has two sons, one in college, and one in Africa with the Peace Corps. She enjoys traveling to interesting and unusual parts of the world, painting, and walking her dog, Harry.
