Project C.U.R.E. is fortunate that many companies select us to benefit from CSR initiatives. We are always thrilled to have groups volunteer to help sort and pack medical supplies, stock inventory, and load containers. Our corporate volunteers tell us that it’s a fun way to serve and give back, and most say that it’s a great team-building activity.
Earlier this month, a Deloitte Impact Day was hosted at the Project C.U.R.E. Philadelphia Distribution Center. Forty-three participants served 234 combined hours as they pre-sorted, wrapped, and racked 26 pallets of medical supplies. Colleagues from Chase also volunteered with us at the Project C.U.R.E. warehouse in Chicago. The team spent time preparing supplies headed to Niger, Syria, Ukraine, and the DRC. And the Project C.U.R.E. warehouses in Denver and Phoenix recently hosted teammates from Charles Schwab during their Volunteer Week activities. They were tasked with sorting medical supplies and loading C.U.R.E. Cargo shipments for Ukraine, Nigeria, Mali, and more.
