Join Project C.U.R.E. in 2024 as we provide health and hope in Suriname!
Suriname is the smallest independent country in South America with a short coastline along the North Atlantic Ocean.
Our medical team will provide primary health care in two to three communities, traveling by canoe to reach some of these areas. Suriname is defined by vast swaths of tropical rainforest, Dutch colonial architecture and a melting-pot culture. With a third of the country classified as nature reserves, Suriname protects some of the most remote, ancient wilderness on the planet. Suriname’s population includes Hindustanis, Creoles, Javanese, Maroons, and Amerindians. The diversity of its population is a point of pride among many Surinamese people.
About the Program Cost
